Delicious Vegan Simple Quick Black Beans
This recipe is great to compliment a main dish. Canned beans help to make this recipe quick, easy and foolproof.
Ingredients:
1 large can of black beans
1 t of salt, add more to taste
1/4 diced onion
1/2 diced red pepper
dash of cayenne pepper, to taste
1/2 T of garlic powder
1 T water
Drizzle of oil
Equipment needed:
cutting board, sharp knife, pot for cooking rice, spoon
Instructions:
Drizzle oil to coat bottom of pot. Turn stove to medium heat. Once oil is hot, add onions and peppers. Stir after 3 minutes of cooking. Add all seasonings, except salt. Drain can of beans then add to pot. Add water, stir. Cover. Allow to cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add salt, stir. Allow to cool. Enjoy!
