Delicious vegan thin crust pizza

As you know I love pizza, I love my thin and thick crust equally. This recipe is delicious to make on a weekly basis.

Ingredients:

Crust: one package of store made pizza dough ( fresh preferred) or your personal homemade dough

Sauce: Large can of crushed tomato, organic or 100% natural preferred

Seasonings: oregano, salt, garlic powder, pepper, sugar, cayenne pepper, oil

Cheese: package of vegan cheese (Daiya is my fave brand)

Toppings:

1 large red pepper, diced

1 large onion, diced

Basil, chopped

Equipment: Cutting board, sharp knife, pizza baking pan 12 inches or larger

Instructions:

Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

Grab the pizza pan. Coat skillet with 1 T of oil.

Before working, make sure the pizza dough is at room temperature. Spread the dough on a clean surface until it forms a round circle. Lightly stretch the dough with your knuckles, pulling slightly. Once dough is about 8 to 10 inches round, place dough into pizza pan.

Once dough is in place, spread 3 huge spoonfuls of crushed tomatoes on top of the dough. Add seasonings to taste. Layer the vegetables generously onto sauce, top with 2 handfuls of cheese.

Top with basil and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until pizza is slightly firm to the touch.

Allow pizza to cool for 10 minutes. Slice and enjoy!
